I am one of the fortunate ones that get to travel frequently for work. Now I understand, that everyone wouldn’t enjoy this as much as I do, but I believe its a must in keeping me sane. A job thats simply a desk job, just isn’t for me. I need to be out and about, talking, meeting and doing things. One of the perks, besides getting just to network, I get the opportunity to see new places and get a taste of the local cuisine. I will highlight these in Golden Local Eats– but I can’t promise I won’t be drooling the whole time I’m writing…and dreaming of going back to all the places I’ve found!
This past weekend I was in Dallas, Texas with Steffanie, shes recently gluten-free (not by choice, unfortunately), but we were able to find an awesome gluten-free restaurant,Company Cafe. Steff was excited to get a gluten-free bun burger and I had the best fish tacos which had the biggest kick of flavor- AND had goat cheese on them! We got to dine outside on huge picnic tables under large strings of bulbed lights. It looked perfectly southern and a great summer night (in the spring). I cannot say enough good things about it!
They have a few different locations, but I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in Dallas. Don’t these look scrumptious?
