I never posted my Christmas decor even though the post has been sitting drafted since November…its just been a little crazy. Actually I decorated the second we got home from Thanksgiving (a 11 hour drive from Tennessee!). Last year we moved in right before Christmas so we set up the tree but didn’t really go all out. This year it was so fun to put everything up, and extra special because my mom and grandmother gave me some of their Christmas decor.
Last year we had the tree up in the living room but there is so much more room in the sunroom because we only use it for him to teach in so it just makes more sense. Since our house is an open floor plan it still lights up the downstairs.
My grandparents got these camels in Israel and I love them. I haven’t found a nativity that I like yet but camels were crucial players so I think its a good place holder.
Because we have an artificial tree it was important to make a trip to bath and body work for christmas candles but I love having scented pinecones and these ornaments that I’ve stuck in wreaths and the tree to spruce (no pun intended) the Christmas smells.
I stuck a couple of these plaid placemats around to up the Christmas ambiance.
I made these mini wreaths a few weeks ago with green picks from Michaels. Their Christmas decor is so good right now.
I was a little nervous about hanging this ornament because its supposed to be hung on the wall but with some greenery ties it has stayed and not budged!
